♡11. The secret room♡

AUTHOR'S POV

She closed her eyes, got up from there, and then ran away while they all laughed seeing her run like that.

After a minute, Vedant also got up and walked towards his room. He saw Ditya sitting on the bed.

She looked up as soon as she heard the sound of the door opening, but the moment her eyes met his, she looked away.

He smirked and locked the door behind him.

"Why do you have to lock the door all the time?" she asked.

"Because now I have a wife to take care of," he said while walking towards her.

"You can even do that with the door open," she said.

"Of course I can," he replied.

"Then why lock it? Go and unlock it," she said.

"No," he replied.

"Why?" she asked.

"Because besides taking care of you, I have my fantasies to fulfill, and jaana, I don't think you would like others seeing us doing that," he said while sitting beside her.

"What fantasies?" she asked.

"I have many," he replied.

"What kind of fantasies?" she asked.

"The kind of fantasies you only imagine while writing or sleeping," he said.

"I don't imagine anything," she replied.

"Oh really?" he asked.

"Should I show you on your phone then?" he said while taking out his phone.

"Stop it," she said.

"Why? Don't you want to know about my fantasies now?" he asked.

"No," she replied while looking down.

"Alright," he said while keeping his phone back in its place.

Then he placed his hand on her cheek and leaned closer.

"What the hell are you doing? Don't forget about your promise," she said, startled, while holding the hand that was on her cheek.

"I am not forgetting any promise of mine. I already told you all these things are not included in my promise," he said.

"They are," she replied.

"Don't argue with me over such small things now," he said.

"Small things? You think this is something small? Then that's your illusion because no, it's not a small thing," she said.

"Stop it, Ditya," he said while looking directly into her eyes.

"Stop what? I won't let you do that," she said while getting up from the bed and trying to walk away, but he grabbed her arm and pulled her back, causing her to fall onto the bed.

He hovered over her, his hands caging her.

"Listen to me very carefully. I am not your slave that you think you can order around, got it?" he said while looking into her eyes.

"Leave me," she said.

"Can you see yourself right now? You are lying beneath me. You are under my control, and if I want, then I can take you right now without waiting for those thirty days-twenty-nine now-so stop arguing with me over something you don't have control over," he said.

Then he got up from there. His phone started ringing, and he left, knowing it was an important call he couldn't ignore.

Meanwhile, tears were flowing from Ditya's eyes.

"I should leave from here before he comes back," she said and walked out of the room, not knowing where to go because even she didn't know anything about this mansion.

She saw Vedant there, got scared, and instantly went inside the nearby room.

The room had only a dim light glowing. It wasn't too bright, nor was it too dark.

It was a library, but just then, when she placed one hand on the wall, it slipped to the side and a door opened.

She walked inside.

When she looked around the hidden room clearly, she realized that it was a secret passage.

But to where?

She didn't know.

Still, she decided to move further inside, thinking that maybe it was her good luck that she had gotten a chance to escape. Thinking that she could finally get out of the mansion, she started walking deeper inside.

DITYA'S POV

I was walking and walking through the passage leading to who knows where.

I think this way can lead me out of the mansion, but after walking for almost fifteen minutes, a door appeared in front of me asking for a PIN, a password.

Oh God! What could it be?

I can't try something random.

What if an alarm rings and I get caught?

This is my only hope. I can't lose it.

Right now, I should go back.

I will search for the password in his room.

I can't let this chance slip from my hands just like that.

I decided to leave from there and walked out.

But then I got lost in the mansion.

This place is so huge.

Who even makes such a big mansion?

Now I'm lost here.

Where should I go now?

Left or right?

Maybe right.

I decided to go in the right direction because it felt right, but it wasn't the right choice because as soon as I turned right, I bumped into something hard, and that was none other than him-Vedant.

He was standing in front of me.

"Why are you here?" he asked in his cold voice.

"I was lost," I said.

Then he looked into my eyes as if he was digging into my soul, trying to find something different in them.

"Why did you even come out of the room?" he asked.

"Come with me. I will show you the room, and don't come out again," he said.

"Okay," I replied.

What happened to him after the wedding?

He is behaving very coldly.

He is behaving like I am his enemy.

Why did he change suddenly?

"Will you walk now, or should I leave you here only?" he asked angrily.

"No, I am coming," I said, realizing that he had already started walking.

"This is our room. Now don't come out again because I can't babysit you all the time," he said.

"What happened to you suddenly?" I asked.

"What?" he replied.

"Why are you behaving so differently?" I asked.

"I am not behaving differently. I am like this only," he said.

"And let me tell you one thing-you can't just walk around like that in this mansion. Am I clear?" he asked.

"Yes," I replied.

"Stay in this room only. That would be good for you," he said.

"And secondly, don't go inside any room you don't know about, especially the rooms near the corridor where you were roaming," he said.

"Okay," she replied.

"If you do the opposite of any of these things, then be ready for the punishment," he said and left.

There is definitely something in that room that's why he denied me to go there.

Maybe a way towards my freedom.

He told me not to go there but now I have to go there often because that's the only way for me to get out from here.

But if he ever found me there again then he will punish me, as he said just now.

But, who cares about the pain?

He promised me that he won't touch me for next twenty nine days now.

So the punishment must be something else, something definitely painful, but I have to bear that pain for my freedom.

I can do this.

If he want to punish me, then I will let him do that but I won't stop exploring my way out of this mansion.
